These watches are awesome, as are Yves Behar and fuseproject. These are the Mini Motion watches, part of a series of apparel and gear for Mini. Since the watch was designed with driving in mind the display changes orientation according to the position of the wrist.

Walmart and plastic bags

I saw a Walmart plastic bag on the street this morning as I walked to work, and it made think about how ridiculous plastic bags are. I think they would be used less if Walmart simply charged a nickel for every bag. It would definitely make me think twice about taking one.
