Trip to Antelope Island
These are photos from a trip we took to Antelope Island in September. And in case you were wondering Antelope Island is surrounded by the Great Salt Lake. We took the trip before we left Salt Lake, so I could say I had atleast seen the lake we lived by for the past couple of years.

New York Times sketches
Since I know longer have job, and I have been missing dearly my "morning meeting sketch" time, I decided to start a new sketch project; taking headlines from the New York Times and coming up with a quick sketch. Here are two from today. The first one from the article "Senate Health Bill Said to Cost $849 Billion Over 10 Years." The second from the article "Only Her Stylist Knows For Sure."

Illustration Friday: Unbalanced
I remember as a kid the commercials would always say, and probably still do, _____ is part of a balanced breakfast. I don't know about anybody else, but the cereal was the breakfast, there were no other parts. The commercials always showed the kid with a whole tray of stuff. Is it said like that so that the cereal company can get away with all the sugar that goes into the product?

Illustration Friday: Frozen option B
My other idea for Illustration Friday. Now that I executed it, I kind of prefer it over the previous idea. So it has to do with frozen things being cold, when it's cold it's basketball season and the abdominal snowman loves the cold so why not basketball.

Illustration Friday: Frozen
This stemmed from a news article about a website that was made to explore the affect of social media on our society, as well as a study from Ohio State University about how Facebook affects grades.
